New bridal wear specialist for Lincoln

A new bridal wear specialist opens in Lincoln this coming Saturday 7 November, creating four new jobs.

Giovanna Couture, which offers a range of wedding gowns and accessories is moving into 265 High Street which was formerly occupied by the fancy dress firm Party Animal.

“Lincoln is a lively city and I had been looking for a suitable property to locate the business for some while and when 265 High Street became available I was quick to snap it up. It is a lovely place and just perfect. I believe there is a clear need for a specialist bridalwear business in Lincoln, ” said proprietor Sheena Donaldson who also runs a bridalwear shop in Newark.

Matt Johnson of Hodgson Elkington chartered surveyors who handled the property transaction said. “We wish Sheena Donaldson and Giovanna Couture all the very best for the future. This property occupies a prominent corner position on the junction of Lincoln’s upper High Street and St Martins Lane. The property benefits from being in close proximity to some well known national and local retailers, having both on street and pay and display car parking close by”

“I believe every bride should have access to high quality wedding dresses at affordable prices and I know our own Giovanna Couture and Purity Bridal collections will do just that,” said Sheena Donaldson, who added that the business will be open 7 days a week.
