SMALL BUSINESS RATES RELIEF
The Government has extended its support to a scheme where businesses occupying premises with a rateable value of up to £6,000 pay no business rates.
If the rateable value is between £6,000 and £12,000 businesses will receive relief on a sliding scale of between 100% and 0%.
Properties only qualify if they are the sole premises for the business and the scheme is only extended until April 2013.
