The outline planning application for the mixed use Master Plan proposes around 1,096 dwellings, neighbourhood facilities and Care/Extra Care provision, together with the permanent relocation of the Rutland Showground and the creation of extensive new sports facilities.
The Employment Allocation extends to approximately 30 acres (12 hectares), Phase I of the development having recently been completed in the form of the Oakham Office Park, extending to 25,000 sq ft, setting a high design standard majoring on energy efficiency and attractive detailing.
